Due to time-constraints, my move from my dA journal has been postponed. I never was leaving, I was just planning on moving to an external blog, but those plans have been held up.

Black Sphere Studios is now my job, even though it doesn't actually pay yet. Due to the immediate need of some kind of playable prototype, I've had to stop developing the website mid-course, even though it actually works fairly well as-is. Priorities are priorities, although I now know how to pull off a LEFT JOIN with a subquery in MySQL, how to implement an AJAX script, invented a superfast string replacement function in PHP, and know 1500 different ways of getting webpages to do what you want.

Note that the only working links are under the "Profiles" menu item, since all of my work was concentrated on the profiles (I essentially wrote a content submission system that handles Art, Music, Programs, Videos, Flash, Blogs, Tutorials, and pretty much anything you can think of). Registration is functional, as is most of the profile features, however there is a 20 MB upload limit on standard users. You can run around, submit stuff, write a blog, and favorite other people's stuff, but I didn't get comments implemented (though the infrastructure is there).

It's somewhat annoying having to put a stop to a project that would have probably been completed in an other week, but that is a week I do not have. Thus, the Black Sphere Studios site will continue to be under construction for the indefinite future.

I have serious doubts about my mental stability.
